This 3,500 lbs hydraulic disc brake kit (10″ hub/rotor, 5×4.5″ bolt pattern) is ideal for small, single axle trailers rated around 3,500 lbs.  It's commonly used on boat trailers, utility or cargo trailers, small RV/travel trailers (campers) and even horse or car hauling trailers  .  In these applications the robust 10″ rotor and matched caliper give much more consistent, fade resistant stopping than old drum brakes – especially at highway speeds or under heavy load .
